How does the 30-day free trial work?
Every new account starts with a 30-day trial of the full product — all Growth features, no credit card required. We email you a heads-up 3 days before it ends, and since there is no card on file, you can never be surprise-charged. When it ends, you keep the Free plan automatically: your data, your dashboard, and tracking for one website stay right where they were.
Is there really a free plan?
Yes, permanently. The Free plan covers one website and 10,000 events a month with core traffic analytics — real-time dashboard, top pages and referrers, AI-assistant traffic attribution, and exports. It shows a small "Analytics by Crafty Meerkat" badge on your site; that badge is how the free plan pays for itself. AI advisor features, uptime monitoring, and multiple sites are what you upgrade for.
What counts as an event?
Page views and custom events both count toward your monthly limit. Our under-2KB snippet fires one event per page load.
Can other people see my dashboard?
Yes. Every paid plan includes team members: invite staff, a business partner, or your marketing agency by email and choose what each of them can do — admin (everything, including inviting others), member (change settings and run reports) or viewer (read and print, change nothing). They keep their own login, and you can remove them at any time.
What happens when I hit my event limit?
Events beyond your limit are silently dropped. Your dashboard continues to work with the data already collected. No overage charges.
How does the AI report work?
Every Monday, we send your last 7 days of analytics data, along with your business context, to Crafty Meerkat's AI (powered by Anthropic). It returns 3–5 specific, ranked recommendations. The report is emailed to you and stored in your dashboard.
I manage a lot of client websites — what are my options?
Up to 25 sites, that's the Business plan at $99/month. Past 25 it's the Agency plan, priced to fit rather than off a list — get in touch and tell us how many sites you manage. We work with MSPs and agencies running hundreds of sites.
Is my data shared with anyone?
Never. Your data lives in your account. We don't aggregate it, sell it, or use it for anything other than generating YOUR reports.
Do you have a referral program?
Yes — give a month, get a month. Every account has a personal referral link (find it under "Refer a Friend" in your dashboard). When a friend subscribes through it, you each get one month free, applied automatically to your bills. No limit on how many months you can earn.
How healthy is your website?
Put in any address and get a report card back: whether AI assistants can read the site, how fast it loads, the SEO basics, security, and what it's built on. It takes about a minute, and there is nothing to sign up for.
