AI Weekly Reports
Every Monday morning: a short, ranked list of what to improve — written from your own numbers.
Available on Growth and Agency plans — and in every 30-day free trial
Imagine opening your inbox on Monday and finding a short note that says: “Your contact page lost half its visits after last week’s menu change — move the link back to the top navigation.” That is what AI Weekly Reports do: they turn a week of raw analytics into 3 to 5 specific, ranked recommendations you can act on before lunch.
Most analytics tools stop at showing you charts and leave the hard part — “so what should I do?” — entirely to you. Crafty Meerkat is Website Analytics with a built-in AI Advisor, and the weekly report is the advisor’s flagship. It reads your data the way a consultant would, then writes you the memo a consultant would charge for.
The recommendations are not generic tips like “post more on social media.” They cite your actual pages, your actual traffic sources, and your actual numbers. A bakery might be told that its “custom cakes” page gets 214 visits a week but sits three clicks from the homepage. A law office might learn that Tuesday-evening visitors from a local directory convert at twice the average. Advice this specific is only possible because it comes from your own data.
How it works
Every Monday, Crafty Meerkat compiles your last 7 days of analytics — page views, traffic sources, top pages, bounce rates, goals, and visitor trends — together with your business context: your site description, your goals, and your industry. It then analyzes the patterns using AI powered by Anthropic and writes 3 to 5 ranked recommendations tailored to your site.
The report also reads your chart annotations (dated notes like “Sent newsletter” or “New pricing page”), so when traffic moved, the analysis explains why instead of guessing. Each report compares your goals week-over-week and prioritizes recommendations that improve conversion, not just traffic.
Finished reports are delivered by email and saved in your dashboard under AI Insights, so you can scroll back through past weeks and see which recommendations you have already acted on.
Step by step
- 1
Fill in your business context
In your site’s Profile, describe what your business does and who your customers are. The more the advisor knows — “family bakery in Austin, most orders come through the custom cakes form” — the sharper the recommendations get.
- 2
Set up one or two goals
Define what success looks like: a visit to your /thank-you page, or a custom event like “signup”. The weekly report compares each goal week-over-week and focuses its advice on what moves them.
- 3
Let a week of data accumulate
The report needs a full week of traffic to compare against. Your first report arrives the Monday after your data starts flowing.
- 4
Read Monday’s email and pick one recommendation
Each recommendation is ranked, so start at the top. Acting on one item a week compounds fast — that is 52 data-backed improvements a year.
- 5
Check next week’s report for the result
Because reports compare week-over-week, next Monday tells you whether the change worked. Add an annotation when you make the change so the analysis connects cause and effect.
Tips from the den
- ◆Add an annotation every time you change your site or run a promotion — the report uses your notes to explain traffic movements instead of guessing.
- ◆Keep your site profile’s business description current. If you launch a new service, tell the advisor; the recommendations will start covering it.
- ◆Do not try to act on all five recommendations at once. One per week, verified the following Monday, beats five half-finished changes.
- ◆Past reports live in your dashboard under AI Insights — reread last month’s before a planning session. Patterns across weeks are often more valuable than any single report.

Common questions
Are the recommendations really specific to my site?
Yes. Each report is generated from your own analytics data and business context, and it cites your actual pages and numbers — for example, “/menu lost 32% of its visits after March 3.” Two sites never receive the same report.
When do reports arrive, and where can I find old ones?
Reports are generated every Monday from your previous 7 days of data. Each one is emailed to you and stored in your dashboard under AI Insights, so the full history stays available for reference.
Do I need any technical knowledge to use the recommendations?
No. Recommendations are written in plain language, ranked by priority, and explain the why behind each suggestion. When a change does require code, the Prompt Builder can package it into instructions for your developer or AI coding tool.
